Please read these terms carefully before using ItsMyStory.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ItsMyStory, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

Use of Services

You May:

  • Create stories for personal, educational, or commercial use
  • Upload images of yourself, family members, or characters you own
  • Download and print your generated storybooks
  • Share your stories on social media with attribution
  • Use our API within rate limits specified in your plan

Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Upload images of people without their consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI models
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
  • Use automated tools to abuse our API or create spam
  • Violate any intellectual property rights
  • Impersonate others or provide false information

Warning: Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload (images, text, prompts). By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it to provide our services.

Generated Content

Stories and illustrations generated by our AI become your property. You may use them for any legal purpose, including commercial use. However, you acknowledge that similar content may be generated for other users.

Our Platform

The ItsMyStory platform, including our AI models, software, designs, and trademarks, remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

Payments and Subscriptions

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
  • Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you've generated fewer than 3 stories.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless specified in your plan.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service "As Is": Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

AI Limitations: AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before use.

Liability Limit: Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring generated content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe others' rights.

Account Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period
  • You'll retain access to your content for 30 days
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
